Cech to tell Chelsea he wants to join Arsenal

According to the Independent, Chelsea No.2 goalkeeper will tell his Chelsea bosses that he would like to play for Arsenal so that he and his family can remain in London.

The 33-year-old has been at Stamford Bridge for the past 11-years and now after being replaced as the Blues starter by Belgium international Thibaut Courtois he has decided to move clubs so that he can once more resume playing first-team football.

Cech is thought to be available for around £10 million, and even though manager Jose Mourinho said if it was up to him the Blues shot-stopper would never be sold to a rival club, but in this case it appears as if owner Roman Abramovich will have the final say as to which club he can join.
