A top journalist has given his verdict, as regards the future of Manchester United future. The world of football remains in the dark over who the next United manager would be. The tabloids are dead sure that Jose Mourinho is the man while the fans are drooling at the thought of Ryan Giggs taking charge of the club next season.

The board, in their inimitable way, remains mute over their next line of action, but from all indications it seems that are prepared to stick with Louis van Gaal. It is with great uncertainty that I have said those words but one man is 100% sure that van Gaal will still keep his job next season.

Guillem Balague in his latest article for Yahoo sports posits that the fans are expected to live with the idea of seeing their manager at the club next season.

Jose Mourinho’s long-held dream of managing Manchester United is vanishing very fast, as at this point in time Manchester United want to continue with the reign of Louis van Gaal for the coming season. King Louis is dead? Far from it.

One thing, I have been told, is certain. Van Gaal, as it stands in this volatile world of football, will continue as manager, fully supported by the MU Board, who do not take such decisions lightly. He insisted.

There is no point in sacking the Dutchman since he has succeeded in calming the storm at the club. Despite their early blip to the start of their season, United have managed to remain within reach of Champions League football. They are few points behind fourth-placed Arsenal who seem to be on a downward spiral.

The Mourinho agitators will have to wait till the end of next season since van Gaal’s contract with the club does not end until the summer of 2017.
