Despite the Borussia Dortmund manager Jürgen Klopp being linked to Arsenal when he leaves the Signal Iduna Park at the end of the season, the Daily Star says that he would reject any overtures from the Gunners preferring instead to take over at Anfield.
This news follows on from bookmakers cutting the odds on Klopp taking over from Rodgers to just 4/1.
While Liverpool’s owners The Fenway Sports Group showed no hesitation in firing Kenny Dalglish, it will be a bit more difficult should they want rid of Brendan Rodgers with his current deal costing the owners £10 million to sack him.
We expect to see the Northern Irishman in charge at Anfield next season, and as for Klopp who knows where the talented German will end up.
