Last summer both Manchester United and Chelsea tried to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho even expected to make another move for the Frenchman this January in order to help get his underperforming team back on track.
In what will come as bad news to the Premier League giants the 24-year-old has said he has no desire to move to England and is very happy in Spain.
“I do not feel the need to play in Ligue 1, nor in the Premier League or in Serie A.” he said on the Canal Football Club.
“I am in Spain – I’m happy. Life here, football, I like it all.”
