After realizing that they could miss out on signing either David Luiz of Chelsea, or Daniel Agger from Liverpool, Barcelona are now looking at Tottenham’s Belgium international Jan Vertonghen according to Het Laatste Nieuws.
The Flemish paper claims that the versatile defender could be an excellent third choice should they fail to secure the services of either Luiz or Agger.
The newspaper claims that Barcelona have already put a bid in of 27€ million with neither Spurs nor anyone connected to the player having commented on the reported bid as of yet.
