Arsenal is going to test the resolve of Italian champions Juventus by making a £21.4 million bid for midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The Gunners feel confident that a deal can be done as Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has been busy convincing his Chilean international teammate to join him at the Emirates next season.
The pair is currently taking part in the Copa America, and has Spanish sources saying that Vidal is keen on a move to London.
Capturing the 28-year-old central-midfielder would be a big coup for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, and would help put some bite in the team as they try to win the Premiership next summer.
