Leading the Arsenal talk in the papers this morning is the story about Jack Wilshere and the incident The Sun describes as a “brawl outside London’s Cafe de Paris”, the British tabloid goes on to say that this latest incident may be a lark too far for the Gunners.

Having seen so little of the former wonder boy play over the past two seasons it’s hard to imagine too many people shedding a tear should Arsenal decide to sell their £80,000 per-week off-pitch liability.

Now onto news that is of interest to Arsenal fans and that is who will the Gunners try and sign once the transfer window opens for business on July 1st.

Metro is claiming that Arsenal have decided to make Polish international striker Arkadiusz Milik their first signing of the summer.

The 22-year-old Ajax forward has also attracted the attention of Barcelona and Liverpool, yet Metro believes the Gunners are front runners with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger dispatching scouts to watch him on several occasions.

Milik only arrived at Amsterdam last summer, in a £2 million deal from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, but now after having scored 16 goals in the Dutch Eredivisie his price tag will be closer to the £10 million mark, a figure still well short of the money that will be asked for Gonzalo Higuain and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who several papers claim are being linked with a move to the Emirates.

With Euro 2016 kicking off in June, we can expect to see several deals done early this summer which means by the time the window opens the deals will star sailing through.
