Reports in French sports daily L’Equipe are saying this morning that once the transfer window opens for business on Saturday, the Gunners will make their move for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
The French newspaper goes on to claim that the two clubs have already made contact to discuss a possible move south for the French international and that the Magpies will not sell for less than £20 million.
Two days ago both the Express and Mirror claimed that Arsenal had made a £9 million offer for the versatile midfielder but that the offer was immediately declined by the Northeast club.
