Saltsburg, Arsenal

Frank Schreirer the agent for Red Bull Saltsburg defender Martin Hinteregger has told both Arsenal and Manchester United that it will take at least 10€ million for the Austrian club to sell their prized centre-back.

The U-21 international has already won two Austrian League titles with the club while capturing the interest of various foreign teams that also include Italian Serie A giants Juventus and Lazio.

His agent when talking to Lazio fan website La Lazio Siamo Noi  (In Italian) said:”At the moment we have received no official request from Lazio. There are only so many interested clubs that have asked me about the guy, but then again, nothing official.”

Hinteregger’s contract with the Austrian club expires on June 30th 2018, which is prompting Red Bull to up the price for the 21-year-old  that they do not want to see leave prompting Schreirer to say: “ I do not think that Saltsburg has any intention of letting him leave which is why they have increased their asking price.”

Should a firm offer come in from one of the Premiership sides of from the Italian top-flight it is hard to imagine the youngster staying in Austria past this next summer.
