Despite having already been linked with a move to Manchester United it would now appear that Arsenal is also interested in signing the Sevilla hot-shot Carlos Bacca after watching him score two goals in Sevilla’s 3-2 Europa Cup Final win over Dnipro.

The £21.3 million rated Colombian international is seen by Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal as a replacement for his compatriot Radamel Falcao, while Gunners boss Wenger thinks the 28-year-old has the skill and class to compete against the best in the Premier League while being half the price of players such as Edinson Cavani and Karim Benzema according to reports.

Liverpool along with several clubs in Italy are following developments, but with Sevilla being in the Champions League next season they may if they give Bacca a pay raise convince the striker to stay in Spain.
