Arsenal has not given up hope of bringing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata to the Emirates even though there appears now to be competition from Tottenham and Inter Milan according to the Daily Mail.

Real Madrid trainer Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the club will let Morata leave on loan knowing that the youngster needs first team football, and that it would prove difficult to do that at the Santiago Bernabeu given the current players Ancelotti has available to select from, and even more so should they carry through with their desire to sign Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.

The Italian trainer explained the situation saying: ‘The player wants to look for an opportunity where he can play more and the club agrees with this.

‘If he leaves it would be good that he would have the chance to play. If Morata goes we have to think about getting a young forward with the same characteristics.’
