Spanish radio station Cadena Cope is according the Daily Mirror airing a story this morning claiming that Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has agree terms to join Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.
Cazorla was captain for yesterday’s 2-0 win over Middlesbrough and has been displaying his best form for the Gunners this season since arriving from Malaga in 2012 after having only been on the Costa del Sol for one season with the rest of his footballing career spent at Villarreal.
Since arriving in north London the now 30-year-old has become a fan favourite at the Emirates and will certainly be missed should these reports be true and that he move to the Spanish capital next summer.
