According to Independent, French Championant winner PSG have identified Arsenal profilic attacker Alexis Sanchez as the replacement for the soon to depart Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Zlatan has publicly confirmed he could leave PSG this summer. He has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and the Milan clubs Inter and AC.
In his replacement, according to independent, PSG will make a big money offer for Arsenl’s Sanchez. This report was reaffirmed by AS Chile, a Chilean media outlet. Whatever gives PSG the thought that they can sign Sanchez we will probably not know but one thing is certain, Wenger is not going to send one of his best players.
Sanchez has so far this season scored 12 goals and created 10 assists despite missing close to three months due to an hamstring injury. Arsenal have no reason to sell and unless Sanchez forces a move ( which is unlikely for now ), he is surely going to continue to play for Arsenal next season.
However, should Wenger continue not to buy the right players for Arsenal that will ensure they compete for honours in both the League and Europe, big guns such as Sanchez, Cech and Ozil may want out.
To continue to keep big players happy, you not only need to pay them the ongoing market rates but as well as give them a good chance of winning trophies. Wenger should take note of this.
