According to the Daily Telegraph Arsenal could be set to reignite their interest in German attacking midfielder Marco Reus after Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich rule themselves out of contention.

Arsenal is not the only club however being linked with the Borussia Dortmund player with Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid also linked with the 25-year-old who is considered to be looking for a way out of manager Jürgen Klopp’s side following a disastrous first half of a season that sees the club second from bottom.

German daily newspaper Bild claim that Bayer Munich no longer have any interest in signing Reus leading the Telegraph to believe that Arsenal will take this as their cue to make a move.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said yesterday that he would not be signing anymore players this transfer window unless something exceptional turned up.

Does Wenger think Reus is exceptional?
