Arsenal legend wants Didier Drogba to join him in New York

Former Arsenal striker and legend at the club Thierry Henry wants former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba to join him in New York and play for the Red Bulls in one last final fling before he ends his playing career according to the Daily Star.

Currently playing in Turkey for Istanbul’s Galatasaray, the former Chelsea man becomes a free agent in the summer and is already involved in a battle for his signature between the Red Bulls and the Seattle Sounders both of the MLS.

The 35-year-old former Chelsea man will take on Jose Mourinho and his former club Chelsea tomorrow night in Istanbul in the first-leg of their last-16 Champions League match marking the first time he and the club have met since he scored the Champions League winning penalty for Chelsea in 2012.

Once the Ivorian international has decided to hang up his playing boots there is an open invitation open for him to be a striker coach for his former club Chelsea where he is still loved and missed by their supporters.
