Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is reportedly on the verge of joining Serie A side AS Roma on a season long loan according to the Daily Telegraph after falling down the pecking order, even before the arrival of Chelsea’s Petr Cech.
Now with has chance of playing first team football diminished as Arsenal the 25-year-old is looking to prove himself in Italy According to Italian newspaper Il Tempo who say he has already reached an agreement to move to the eternal city.
The Polish international has also fuelled speculation that he was heading to the Stadio Olympico by following a number of Roma players in Instagram, and now looks set to complete the move in the coming days.
