Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski arrived in Milan last night and wasted no time in meeting Inter fans throwing a Nerazurri scarf around his neck while holding another in the air.
Despite Arsenal manager Arsene saying just a few days ago that Inter was not serious in their approach to signing the German international it would now appear a season-long loan has been agreed, providing the 29-year-old passes a medical on Saturday.
“I am very happy to be joining Inter,” Podolski told reporters.
“I expect so much from this adventure. I know the Italian league very well. We are aiming to qualify for the Champions League and to win in the Europa League.
“I have spoken with Mancini and I think he is a great coach.”
