Manchester United now appears to be out of the race to sign Villarreal defender Gabriel Paulista after Spanish newspaper AS claimed the Brazilian had already agreed to join Arsenal and is keen on playing for Arsene Wenger.
It now appears that Arsenal is prepared to offer the Spanish side, striker Joel Campbell on loan till the end of the season even though the La Liga outfit would prefer a permanent deal, Arsenal still see the Costa Rican as a player of the future despite him not getting enough playing time at the moment.
Also adding to the news that Campbell might be going to Spain, ESPN is reporting that his agent is on his way to London for talks at the Emirates.
Real Sociedad manager David Moyes is also said to keen on signing Campbell on loan, but now news of him being a part of bringing Paulista to London will certainly be disappointing for the Scot.
