The talk in Spain is that Spanish international Javi Martinez has become disillusioned with life under trainer Pep Guardiola, and is looking for a way to leave Bayern Munich.

Martinez became the Bundesliga’s biggest ever signing when he joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2012 for what was then a staggering £31.6 million from Athletic Bilbao.

The Spaniard was a key part of manager Jupp Heynckes treble winning season last year, but since the arrival of Pep Guardiola at the Allianz Arena German newspaper Bild is claiming he has become unsettled according to talkSPORT after having only made a few starts for the club.

Both Arsenal and Manchester City are aware of the facts and also know that with three years still remaining on his contract it would take around £33 million to sign him.
