While Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini are sat smugly in their offices in Manchester, it is a different story down in London where the talk of change is in the air.

Arsenal and Chelsea That all-important fourth spot

Andres Villas-Boas could be one defeat away from being sacked should the Blues fare badly tonight away to Italian Champions Napoli.
AVB says that he has the full backing of club owner Russian millionaire Roman Abramovich, but in all truth we have seen them come, and go at Stamford Bridge, and at only 34 years-old Jose Mourinho may be right when he said that despite being a good coach AVB was a bit young for the job.
Up in North London it is a different story with an Arsenal team that are going through a rough time.

For a club as big as Arsenal seven years is a long time to be without any silverware, and the fans who are paying some of the highest ticket prices in the country expect more from their club.
While I do not think that Arsene Wenger is in danger of being fired the upper management at Arsenal must get with the times, and change the way Wenger is allowed to spend, and also raise their salary cap to compete with the other big clubs in Europe.
For a club to qualify for the Champions League is a feat worth striving for it was claimed last year in the British press that just to get into the Champions League was worth as much as £20 million, and to win it could be worth £70 million.
Currently both Arsenal and Chelsea are sitting on 43 points with Newcastle on 42 with Liverpool on 39.
Both of these clubs have the momentum, and Liverpool especially is on form after their 6-1 win over Brighton in the FA Cup 5th round last weekend.
Arsenal has a tough local derby against fellow North Londoners Spurs in a match that could very well decide their season.
I will stick my neck out, and say that it will be Liverpool who get the fourth spot in Europe, and that some serious work needs to be done in London now that Manchester is the king of football.
