One of the fond moments in Old Trafford was the attacking combination of Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole in Manchester United especially in the treble winning season of 1999.

The duo combined well to form one of the best partnerships in both English Premier League and Europe.

The 42 year old former United striker, Andy Cole has recently praised the acquisition of the Colombian striker and has backed him to be a big hit in Old Trafford.

Cole remains a legend in Manchester United and he believes the new number 9 will come good as soon as he gets off the mark for the Reds.

Reaching his peak is important as he strives to acclimatise to the physical nature of the English Premier League.

Falcao came closest to scoring twice in his first two games with Robert Green denying him against QPR and after beating Leicester City goalkeeper in the second game, the post stood firm to deny the Colombian striker.

Cole believes the injury suffered by the striker earlier this year may have drawn him back a bit, but he insisted Falcao will get to the level he once was.

The striker is referred to as a ‘dying breed’ in that he is just like an old fashioned striker who always wants to be in the box and score goals for his team.

Radamel Falcao will definitely come well and all he needs is that first goal for the club. He has already created a goal on his first start but the striker will be hoping to be more involved by scoring goals for the team.

It’s important he gets on the score sheet early enough to boost his morale and help the team in their struggle for a top four finish.

Having Falcao in the team makes it difficult for the manager in his selection but it is seen as a good problem to have by most managers.

Either Radamel Falcao will be in the starting line-up against West Ham is yet to be ascertain but the striker may just have a golden chance of opening his goal scoring account today and it won’t have come at a better time and venue.

Old Trafford will be the best place for Falcao to score his first goal and the fans will be excited to see him get on that goal scoring run that he is known for.

Will Radamel hit the back of the net today?

A big question that will make so many United fans glued to their viewing set while United take on West Ham United.

A goal for Falcao today will be a welcome development in Old Trafford.
