As Manchester United prepares to overhaul their squad this summer Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante is being talked about as the player top of Ed Woodward’s list of summer targets.

The French international midfielder is being credited as being one of the main reasons the table topping Foxes have had success this season, with his high-energy pace the main key to Leicester’s form.

The Red Devils are also thought to be keen on his Leicester City teammate Riyad Mahrez following the Algerian internationals run of form scoring 16 goals that has players like Chelsea’s John Terry selecting him for the PFA player-of-the-Year award.

Riyad Mahrez was originally signed by Leicester from French Ligue 2 side £400,000 in 2014, but would now cost United a cool £25 million should they decide to try and bring him to Old Trafford this summer.

Now onto the Jose Mourinho, Louis van Gaal saga and a new twist in the game which could involve Mourinho’s former club Real Madrid with claims in Spain suggesting club president Florentino Perez may attempt to get Mourinho to return to Madrid should Los Blanco’s crash out of the Champions League to Wolfsburg fallowing their first-leg 2-0 loss in Germany.

Meanwhile British Daily tabloid newspaper the Sun is confident that the Portuguese manager is on his way to Old Trafford, and that he is currently looking for a suitable residence in Cheshire.

Spanish La Liga expert Guillem Balague says Mourinho’s representatives now feel that they have a deal is in place and there only remains the final details including where Mourinho will live to sort out.
