Manchester City will be doing all they can to ensure that Argentinian striker Sergio Agüero is fully fit before they take on Barcelona in February.

The City hit man scored the vital goals that allowed City to make it into the last 16 of the Champions league where they hope to beat the team that knocked them out last season to make it to the quarter finals.

Currently Agüero is out with a knee injury that could see him side-lined for up to six weeks, but City will do all they can to have him ready for when the Catalans come to Manchester for the first leg on February 24th.

Fellow Argentinian teammate goalkeeper Willy Caballero admits Agüero is crucial for City if they hope to get past a star packed Barcelona team telling Cadena Cope Radio station: “We hope Kun recovers soon.

“He was on such a good run before his injury. His performance against Bayern Munich [in the group stage] allowed us to dream and now we hope he will play against Barca.”
