Arsenal Boss names Coquelin replacement to face Kiev

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he has been holding an ace up his sleeve all along, and that Calum Chambers is available to take over the injured Coquelin’s defensive midfield duties, and with captain Mikel Arteta also injured in the match with West Brom Chambers could be called upon to play against Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates Tuesday night.

‘We have players that can play in [Coquelin’s] position,’ he said.
‘Chambers has been educated in that position.’

The 66-year-old Frenchman also made the point that if it looked as though Coquelin was going to be out for the rest of the season, the matter would be taken care of during the January transfer window.
‘I’ll do what’s needed in January even though in January it is not an ideal transfer market
