Liverpool is considering making a bid for inter Milan defensive midfielder Gary Medel, according to reports in Chile.
Medel already comes with Premier League experience gained during his time at Cardiff City, and according to Chilean newspaper La Tercera, Liverpool were impressed with Medel’s performances during the recent Copa America tournament as he helped lead Chile to victory.
Medel’s future at Inter is now in doubt after the Serie A side signed Geoffrey Kondogbia from Monaco, leaving Liverpool with the opportunity to perhaps pick him up at a reasonable price, despite having failed in their attempts to get Mateo Kovacic move to Anfield.
