Arsenal and Manchester United appear to be squaring up to do battle over Torino full-back Matteo Darmian once the transfer window opens.
According to reports Torino knows of the Premier League clubs interests, which is why they have put a £20 million price tag on the head of the 25-year-old.
Both the Gunners and Red Devils have been following Darmien’s progress throughout the season and after having been impressed with the former AC Milan defender contribution to the Serie A side helping them remain mid-table are now prepared to try and bring him to England.
Meanwhile Turin newspaper La Stampa claims Darmian is waiting till the end of the season before making any decisions about his future.
