Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf is running a story today claiming that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is looking at Ajax keeper Jasper Cillessen should David De Gea decide to leave Old Trafford.

Given van Gaal’s leaning towards Dutch players this should come as no surprise as he is well known to the Red Devils manager, after starting every game for Holland during last summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

According to the broadsheet Ajax will do all they can to keep hold of the 26-year-old, despite talk of a 25€ million move to Old Trafford being on the cards.

This rumour could actually be closer to the truth than we think as De Telegraaf was the first to not only break the news of van Gaal becoming Manchester United manager, but also that they had signed Memphis Depay.
