Polish international goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny’s career at Arsenal could be over after the Daily Mail confirmed the Gunners are monitoring Fiorentina goalkeeper Norberto Neto and will make a new number one goalkeeper the number one summer priority.

Arsenal scouts are not the only ones keeping an eye on the 25-year-old with representatives from Liverpool and Juventus also tracking the Brazilian.

Szczesny lost his place to back up keeper David Ospina after a poor performance against Southampton on New Year’s Day, and is unlikely to want to spend the rest of the season on the bench knowing that manager Arsene Wenger will be signing a new number one in the summer.

At his press conference yesterday Wenger refused to say who will get the start against Brighton on Sunday, but in the past the Frenchman often plays his second choice keeper in the FA Cup so depending on who he selects it could point to the Poles future at the club.
