The Daily Mail’s Rob Shepherd writes that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be willing to sell Jack Wilshere in the summer according to the Daily Mirror.

Last weekend the currently injured midfielder was embroiled in another incident where he was seen smoking, yet Wenger did not seem too worried about it in his news conference before last weekend’s game with Spurs giving the young England international his vote of confidence.

Saying this however, he could still possibly be headed for the exit door at the Emirates when Wenger considers his summer spending plans that might include PSG’s Edinson Cavani.

Shepard claims that Arsenal would be looking to get around £25 million for the 23-year-old, while Wilshere would be looking to receive a pay raise that would take him to £80,000 per-week before contemplating a move to another club.

Wenger has a host of attacking midfielders to select from and knows that both Liverpool and West Ham are thinking about bidding in the summer.
