Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is said to be considering leaving the clubs number one goalkeeper on the bench for the match Tuesday night against Swansea preferring to play back up keeper Lukasz Fabianski in his place.

Wenger was disappointed in Szczęsny’s performance against Chelsea and also thinks that the young Pole is a bit too full of himself after the selfie he took of himself and teammates following the 1-0 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane according to the Daily Star.

Szczęsny was also in trouble for making an obscene gesture following his sending off in the match against Bayern Munich.

Following Arsenal’s 6-0 loss to Chelsea over the weekend Tottenham’s Andros Townsend hit back at the Arsenal keeper by tweeting “Who thinks we will see another selfie from him after today’s game?”

Wenger held talks with players yesterday following the shock defeat and has cancelled today’s pre-match press conference.
