Manchester United have had a hell of a week. After Saturday’s draw between Manchester City and Sunderland and Monday’s win at Ewood Park to find out they are in pole position to sign a Belgian starlet is another piece of good news for the Old Trafford club.

United In Pole Position To Sign Starlet

Sir Alex Ferguson is always trying to push youth into his first team squad but after a number of clubs have tracked 15 year old Anderlecht striker, David Henen, the Mail believe that United are favourites to wrap up a deal.

With Belgian football going through an upturn at the moment it is no surprise that Europe’s top clubs are looking to the country for future stars including Eden Hazard, who Ferguson personally viewed a few weeks ago.

Henen was born in Luxembourg but moved to Belgium when he was 12 where he was part of the Standard Liege set up. Three years later he moved to Anderlecht.

If United were to make a move for Henen he would team up with Adnana Januzaj, who is another youngster the Red Devil’s have signed from Anderlecht in recent years.
