Theo Walcott wants to remain at the Emirates and feels that Arsenal can win the Premiership

Theo Walcott has let it be known that he would like to remain an Arsenal player, and is not worried if his current contract negotiations continue into next season.

The now 26-year-old has been at Arsenal since 2006, and feels that the team Arsenal Wenger has now is capable of challenging for the Premiership title.

“My agent has talked to the club,” Walcott said.

“I enjoy playing for this club, so I am just letting them crack on with things and I’ll continue playing football.

“We’ll just play the waiting game and see what happens but I’m sure it won’t be long.

“This squad, for me, is one of the best I’ve been involved in. I want to be part of that.”
