Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will be fighting for his Arsenal future tomorrow when the Gunners take on Reading at Wembley in their FA Cup semi-final, while Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger drops hints that he could very well be on his way out of the Emirates this summer.

The Polish international lost his place in the team following a disastrous display against Southampton on New Year’s Day, but has remained Wenger’s first choice for cup matches.

Despite playing cup matches instead of new number one David Ospina, the Gunners boss has said the 24-year-olds future remains uncertain.

When asked if Szczesny had a future at the club Wenger said: “I hope yes. But at the moment it is very difficult to answer that question you know. What is important is Saturday.”

And he added: “I replaced Wojciech because he had a bad game.

“I still think he is a great goalkeeper and I want him to have the opportunity to show that.

“At the moment it can change again on the performances of Ospina and the performances of Wojciech. That can change.

“We are in a competitive world and you have to accept that nothing is definite. Every day it can change.”
