Liverpool, Tottenham

After failing to sign Ukrainian winger Yevhen Konoplyanka in January Liverpool could now also miss out this summer as well after Tottenham became interested following their Europa League clash with Konoplyanka’s Dnipro according to the Daily Star.

Dnipro’s owner billionaire Ihor Kolomoyskyi thinks that a move to Tottenham would be more interesting going so far as saying that the 24-year-old Konoplyanka would be more suited to London than to Liverpool telling Ukrainian television channel 2+2 “I have contact with the Tottenham president. I am talking with him.”

“He is interested in Konoplyanka. We are in the stage of negotiations and are perhaps close to signing a contract if Yehven agrees.

“I would choose Tottenham – London – not Liverpool.

“There are matches only once or twice a week, and at other times he will still need somewhere to live.

“I believe London life is preferable to Liverpool.”
