Southampton defensive midfielder has denied that he has made any commitment to joining Arsenal in the summer despite some reports already claiming that he has a verbal agreement in place with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
The French international has been linked with a move to Arsenal for over a year now and yet he still remained at Saint Marys even though fellow Saints stars Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren all joined Liverpool while Luke Shaw opted for a move to Manchester United.
Yet despite being courted by Tottenham and Arsenal the south coast club managed to hang on to the 25-year-old midfielder.
Schneiderlin has now poured cold water on all the rumours about him moving to Arsenal in the summer telling French TV station Canal Plus: “I haven’t had contact with [Arsene] Wenger. Clubs are interested in me but I’ve not given my word to anyone.”
