Italian Serie A side AS Roma has joined the race to sign Lyon hot shot Alexandre Lacazette according to reports coming out of France.

The 23-year-old French international has been on fire this season scoring 24 goals in 24 appearances for the Ligue 1 club.

Not surprisingly this kind of form has not gone unnoticed with Arsenal sending scouts to watch the Frenchman in action while Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers sees him as the ideal forward in the team he is putting together on Merseyside.

Now however, according to L’Equipe, Roma has joined the Premiership duo after contacting Lyon over his availability worried that a bidding war could take place if he is not signed this transfer window.
