The Liverpool boss was on Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on Monday morning after the Reds impressive 2-1 win over Manchester City at Anfield, and revealed how he had managed to turn the season around for the Reds.
Rodger was under immense pressure early on in the season with everyone expecting to see the high-flying team of the previous season, yet instead they lost to Crystal Palace, and did not get out of the Group stage of the Champions league before being subjected to a humbling defeat to Manchester United that left the Northern Irishman on the ropes wondering if his time on Merseyside was about to come to an end.
