Chelsea have gone on alert after summer transfer target Raphael Varane speaks about his future at the Santiago Bernabeu as Pepe undergoes contract talks with the Spanish giants.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho has already earmarked the 21-year-old as his top summer target and is willing to spend £40 million in order to get him to move to Stamford Bridge.
French publication Le10Sport is reporting that the French international is fed up with the lack of playing time he is getting with Los Blanco’s having to play second fiddle to both Pepe and Sergio Ramos which not only leads to speculation that he is looking for an exit, but also shows club president Florentino Perez that for now at least he is surplus to requirements and if sold could bring in a nice chunk of cash.
