Paris Saint-Germain has according to reports tested the water with a £28.5 million bid for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann after having given up on the idea of signing Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba or Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria.

Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann has long been a target for Chelsea, but the Blues are believed to be reluctant to pay his £43 million release clause that they consider to be too high.

Now however seeing that PSG is in the market for Griezmann, they could get involved if Atletico shows any interest in the French champions offer.

Due to Financial Fair Play rules the though is that PSG can only make one big signing this summer, and now appear to have put all their eggs in one basked as they try and lure the 24-year-old Frenchman back home.
