Arsenal has revived their interest in AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas after having missed out on him last summer following an £11 million move to the eternal city from Olympiacos.

The 24-year-old Greek international had a good debut season in Serie A helping Roma to finish in second place behind Juventus sparking Arsenal to get in touch with his agent Mino Raiola over a possible deal.

Tottenham is also interested in the big centre-back along with Manchester United who are reportedly monitoring the situation should they fail to sign Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid.

Roma meanwhile would do business if the price was right, yet their £30 valuation may prove a little too steep for most clubs to consider making an offer.
