Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is in Turkey to complete a 4€ million move to the Turkish giants which will also see the World Cup winner earn 5€ during a three-year contact.
The 30-year-old German begged Gunners boss Arsene Wenger more playing time last season, but the only way to guarantee Podolski first-team football was to let him join Inter Milan on loan, where after having failed to make an impact he was returned to Arsenal.
Wenger meanwhile tried to convince Podolski to remain with the Gunners but with no promise of first-team football available he decided to join Galatasaray where he will also be given the chance to prove himself in the Champions League.
