PSG know that they aren’t as attractive as Barca on a sporting level, so they’ve decided to pull the plugs out on every other level in order to try and snag Paul Pogba.

If the midfielder doesn’t eventually end up in Paris then it won’t be for a lack of money. PSG have increased the transfer fee on offer to €98 million. Agnelli had previously explained that to even sit down to negotiate a possible transfer €80 million had to be put on the table.

It seems that PSG got the message. Barca, meanwhile, are in the middle of a transition period, but they’ll need to get their act together if they want to have any chance of signing the midfielder from Juventus. It’s well known that Pogba wouldn’t be able to play for Barca until January in any case, because of the FIFA sanction in place.
