 Owen still without a club: Former England striker continues to wait

Michael Owen remains unattached after failing to secure a deal before the August transfer deadline.

But as a free agent, the 32-year-old former England, Liverpool and Manchester United striker is not bound by the restrictions of transfer windows and could still sign a contract in due course.

Owen, who was released by United in the summer after three injury-plagued years at Old Trafford, had been linked with Stoke and Everton.
