DAVID MOYES angrily claimed he had been robbed of a first win at Anfield by the ref.

The Everton boss insisted Michael Oliver boobed by disallowing Sylvain Distin’s second-half header for a foul on Pepe Reina.

He fumed: “It was a goal, a legitimate goal. The goalkeeper runs into Victor Anichebe so there’s no foul.

“The referee said Victor impeded the goalkeeper but it was the goalkeeper who ran into him.

“It is frustrating — people are quite quick to remind me that I have not won here at Anfield.

“But if you don’t get any decisions it is very hard to win here.

“And having decisions like that go against us is quite a regular occurrence when we come here.”

Everton have now failed to win on their last 15 visits to Anfield.

Their last away win in the Merseyside derby was back in 1999 — three years before Moyes took over at Goodison Park.

This was the 25th meeting between the clubs during Moyes’ reign, and he has managed only four wins, losing 13 times.
