Following on from United’s 0-3 loss to Liverpool at Old Trafford, and the talk of a bust up between former player , now coach Ryan Giggs over the Scots training methods former Manchester United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich has weighed in with his opinion saying that the 51-year-old Moyes has one week left to save his job.

United face Greek side Olympiakos on Wednesday night in their Champions League last-16 second leg needing to come back from a two goal loss in Piraeus before taking on West Ham and Manchester City in the Premiership.

Bosnich claims should United get knocked out of the Champions League and lose to West Ham and City it would spell the end of his time at Old Trafford telling TalkSport: “David Moyes is a wonderful man but things have gone from bad to worse,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.

“They’ve got big problems. You can see it out on the pitch. The two games [against Olympiakos and Man City] are huge. The West Ham match will take care of itself, but the results against those two will determine whether David Moyes stays at the club.

“If we see another two abject performances, especially in the derby, I don’t think the board will have any choice but to appoint someone else.”
