Jose Mourinho will from all indication be the next Manchester United manager once the current football season ends. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager has reportedly been telling his friends he has agreed to sign for Manchester United.

According to reports, one of the many players Jose Mourinho has his eyes on for the summer transfer window is Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain. Mourinho who was Higuain’s manager at Real Madrid just four years ago is said be interested in reuniting with the Argentine at Old Trafford and will do everything possible to sign the South American for the Red devils.

However, Higuain won’t come cheap as Napoli have made it clear on a number of ocassions that they won’t accept a transfer fee less than the €94 million release clause inserted into the former Real Madrid star’s contract.

Manchester United on their part are said to be ready to pay €84 million for him which is a little short of the release clause Napoli want triggered before they can sell the Argentine. As of the time of writing this article, Higuain has played 39 games in all competition for both Argentine and Napoli and has scored 36 times assists four other goals.

His statistics in the last three years and the inflation in the transfer market is proof that he deserves the price tag Napoli have slapped on him and should United be able to get a deal done, he will be a massive signing for the club.
