JOSE MOURINHO has hailed Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Manchester United as the “match the world wants to see.”

The Bernabeu boss was at Old Trafford yesterday on a spying mission ahead of the February 13 showdown with United in Madrid.

And the Special One said: “This is the match the world wants to see. Real Madrid against Manchester United. Sir Alex against his friend Mourinho.

“The only shame is that it is not the final.”

Mourinho, bidding to take Real to a 10th Champions League crown, added: “We know we can beat them. We know they can beat us — but we will be ready.”

And he believes Madrid, led by former United star Cristiano Ronaldo, are up for it after qualifying for the knockout stages from the ‘Group of Death’.

He explained: “There were groups where you knew who was going to be first and second after two or three games.

“But our group included three of the best five teams in the competition — Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and ourselves. Now we get the toughest opponent in the biggest tie of the last 16.”
