Jose Mourinho could return to manage Chelsea, but he would demand conditions.

Mourinho could come back to Chelsea

While there has been plenty of speculation as to who will be the next manager of Chelsea following the departure of Andres Villas-Boas after only eight months at the club.

Many of the manager’s names being mentioned have already said that they are not interested in the job due to the involvement of Russian Billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.

One manager who said he would like the job was ex-Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.

The fans favourite however remains former manager Jose Mourinho, whose name was chanted by the fans, along with Rafa Benitez “you’re not welcome here” during Chelsea’s 2-0 away win in the FA Cup to Birmingham City.

Mourinho would certainly be the fans favourite, but for him to make a return it is reported that he wants a salary of £12 million a year, and for the Blues to buy Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

In 2007 when talking to the News of the world about his reconciliation with Abramovich Mourinho had this to say: “I had a very good and long meeting with Abramovich at Stamford Bridge last week.”

“It left everything clear between us so there is no doubt, no doubt at all. I know what he thinks, I know what he feels, I know what he wants. And he knows me as a person, as a manager and he knows the way I work.

“It was an easy, long and enjoyable meeting and I was more than delighted – the air is clear again and there is no problem. We have a professional relationship and we understand each other.”
