manchester united,
Not the happy one

What just a couple of weeks ago seemed like a done deal now appears to be unravelling as Manchester United manager in waiting Jose Mourinho calls on the club to give him a written contract stating that he will be the new manager come the summer.

So far the former Chelsea manager only has a verbal agreement, which by the way nobody other that the two parties knows what it is, which the Portuguese manager now apparently worried after hearing that former Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson has given his backing to current United manager Louis van Gaal.

According to The Sun, the 53-year-old Portuguese manager now wants United’s word in writing so he can start full preparation for next season.

Meanwhile other reports are suggesting that the 64-year-old Dutchman is safe to see out his contract and is being given £80 million for summer transfers.

Could the unthinkable have happened and United have done a U-turn on their plans to replace LVG, and if so where does that now leave Jose Mourinho?
