Manchester United will today try and THRASH OUT a deal for David De Gea

Spanish international goalkeeper David De Gea could have his future sorted out today with Manchester United officials set to meet their Real Madrid counterparts in an effort to end the long-running saga for the Manchester United goalkeeper.

De Gea has been perfectly clear in his desire to be able to return to Spain after already saying his goodbyes at Old Trafford, but Manchester United feel as if they deserve something in return for allowing their best player to join the Spanish giants, which is where the Sergio Ramos to Old Trafford play comes in.

For their part Real Madrid do not want to lose the 29-year-old defender, but it gives much better leverage to Manchester United as they seek an unwavering £35 million for the young Spaniard.

We will keep you posted of all the latest developments in this transfer, as news comes in from Old Trafford and the Santiago Bernabeu.
